About Us

The Collegiate online features work completed by Mass Communications students at Barton College, along with other Barton and Wilson-related news. Work represented here was completed for the student newspaper, from class assignments and as extracurricular activities. Students are enrolled in concentrations of journalism (traditional print media, photojournalism, digital media, and audio), audio recording technology, and broadcast/video production (including WEDT television). This website is produced by The Collegiate.
Students can join The Collegiate for course credit or as a volunteer.

  1. I wanted to reach out and let you know that the issue that hit the stands last Friday includes the three issues from the spring that we were not able to print.

  2. We don’t have hard copies of that issue available yet, but are working on possibilities for the Fall. We will post info here as soon as we know something. Thanks for your patience!
